2013 Spring Geology Field Trip (EEES 4980/5980)
Over Spring Break in 2013, a group of 8 students and I went to Utah to study formations on the Colorado Plateau. We camped at Arches NP, Capitol Reef NP, Escalante Natural Area, Bryce Canyon and Zion NP. Students were able to see the evolution of the Colorado Plateau, and the resulting eroded formations as we travelled from East to West through the Front Range, and then across Colorado and Utah.
